This is interesting. There has been a trend in the past decade or so for cremation for it certainly cuts the costs of a funeral to nearly zero. But consider the environmental factor: A burial is being more "green" and cremation is not since it takes a lot of natural gas to completely render a human body. Maybe the government should designate a few acres for funeral pyres. Decisions, decisions.
