Gobbledegook?...KXTR Commercial

Here is the new 30 second commercial for Kansas City, Missouris's KXTR [1660am] which is also coincidental in that on November 20th Entercom.com began "high definition" broadcasting for KXTR. The question is...what are the equations on the blackboard. I don't recognize anything significant and they may well represent a director's appeal to higher mathematics and the associated mystic clout much like the laboratories in the old horror movies where lab equipment is more for presentation than factual accuracy. I talked to the writer of the commercial and PD for KXTR, Patrick Neas, and he did not know. Any clue?

- Deceased--kxtr
This is a personal and regional note but reflects the "radio biz"...if a station cannot turn a profit, then its survival is questionable. The arts do suffer. KXTR [Kansas City, Missouri] began broadcasting about 47 years ago. I used to listen to it on...

Peter Henderson June 9th, 1822 to January 17th, 1890 Peter Henderson was a "Scottish-American scientist, known as the "Father of American Horticulture." He learned methods of gardening in the Old World, then immigrated to the U.S. in 1843. He started...

- Butterfly Science Kits
This is totally different. I saw a commercial for raising butterflies early one morning. The commercial's format was like all the other "only $19.95" offers except they weren't selling knives that never dull or scratch removers...it was a complete...
